Range Rover Velar Interior

The 2020 Range Rover Velar has an upscale interior with several high-end leather and metal accents. There is ample seating in both rows, as well as a fairly spacious cargo area. Velar’s dual-screen infotainment system looks modern and sophisticated, but in practice, it’s awkward to use.

The Velar comes with standard two 10-inch touch screens, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, two USB ports, HD Radio, satellite radio, and an 11-speaker stereo.

This pair of touch screens comprises Land Rover’s Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. The system has crisp graphics and a sleek menu structure, but it tends to respond slowly to inputs. It’s quite distracting to use on the go as well. This is mostly due to the lower screen, which is out of the driver’s line of sight. Its functions change widely depending on the menu that is selected.

Available features include a digital gauge cluster, 17- and 23-speaker sound systems, a rear-seat entertainment system with two 8-inch screens, and a waterproof wristband that allows you to unlock the vehicle without the keys.

Standard safety features include a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, and driver drowsiness monitoring.

Available safety features include a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, a surround-view parking camera system, and hands-free park assist. If you are considering buying a used Range Rover, keep in mind Land Rover is a little bit notorious for High maintenance costs. This is not such a problem if you take these costs into consideration. It is not that much more expensive than for example an audi or Mercedes.

The Velar introduced Land Rover’s new dual touch-screen control system. Even though it looks sleek and modern, we found it to be unnecessarily fussy, requiring extra.

The Velar has 29.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and 60.2 cubic feet with these seats folded. That’s enough room for hauling large items, a power liftgate, and split-folding rear seats are standard.
